Nominate a Local Leader for BADC’s Citizen of the Year Award
The Barrington Area Development Council (BADC) is now accepting nominations for its annual Citizen of the Year Award, honoring an outstanding resident whose volunteer efforts have made a significant impact on the greater Barrington area.
Past honorees include Brian Battle, former District 220 School Board President; Barbara Benson, Barrington area historian; Rev. Dr. Zina Jacque, former lead pastor at Community Church of Barrington; and more.
This year’s winner will be announced at the BADC Annual Dinner on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Barrington’s White House. The evening will feature keynote speaker Karen Darch, five-term Village President of Barrington, and bring together community leaders, business professionals, and residents to celebrate those shaping Barrington’s future.
