Volunteer Connection LIVE Returns April 12 at Barrington Area Library
April is National Volunteer Month, and the Barrington Area Volunteer Connection (BAVC) and the Barrington Area Library are again teaming up to host Volunteer Connection LIVE on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the library’s Meeting Room and Atrium.
The event will feature a Volunteer Fair with more than 20 local nonprofits sharing information about their missions and volunteer needs. Several organizations will also be collecting donations to support their causes, including:
✨ @lionsbarrington – old eyeglasses, hearing aids, and hearing aid batteries
✨ @soulharbourranch – dog and cat toys
✨ @walkonfarm – paper towels and Simple Green cleaner
✨Flint Creek Watersheds – garden gloves
Volunteer Connection LIVE offers an opportunity for community members to discover local causes and learn how to get involved.
