Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce Rolls Out Holiday Cash Dash Promotion

The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) launched its first-ever Holiday Cash Dash, a scavenger hunt designed to “spread holiday cheer while encouraging consumers to shop local and drive business to local stores.”

Each week, BACC will post clues on its social media pages that will lead participants to three local businesses where $50 gift cards are hidden. Those who find the hidden BACC logo at a participating business will win a $50 gift card from that location. Participating areas include downtown Barrington, Pepper Road in Lake Barrington, The Arboretum of South Barrington, Deer Park Town Center, and more.

“This campaign brings a new level of excitement to local shopping,” said Suzanne Corr, president of BACC. “Our goal with the Holiday Cash Dash is to encourage holiday shoppers to explore Barrington-area businesses, enjoy the festive spirit, and discover new stores while supporting our local economy. We’re inviting the whole community to have fun and get involved.”
