Kelsey Roadhouse’s Arachnophobia Room (Lake Barrington)

Embrace the eerie with Kelsey’s Arachnophobia-themed decor. The basement dining area has been transformed into a spider’s lair, featuring life-sized spiders, cobweb covered corners and creepy crawly surprises lurking in every nook. Dine if you dare!

HalloweenTown at The Arb (South Barrington)

Visit the spooktacularly fun Halloween displays at The Arboretum of South Barrington shopping center. From a creature-filled castle to ghostly graveyards, this is a FREE, family-friendly activity for all ages.

Jack O’Lantern World (Lake Zurich)

Now open in Paulus Park, visitors will experience an incredible walk through thousands of hand-carved jack o’ lanterns. Other activities include concessions, interactive Halloween displays, a NEW fun zone with giant inflatables and glowing mini golf, a bigger beer garden, the world’s largest (and friendliest) ghost and more.

Halloween Haunted Trolley Tour at Volo Museum (Volo)

Hop aboard if you dare for a bone chilling, adventure filled experience with frights and delights. Choose between night-time or day-time tours. Running Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through November 3.

Santa’s Village Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival (East Dundee)

Now open Saturdays 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. through October 27. The Fall Festival celebrates the season with amusement rides, a petting zoo, pumpkin patches throughout the park, 30+ fall attractions and a harvest style menu.

Goebberts Fall Festival (South Barrington)

The Goebberts 2024 fall festival is now open daily through October 31st. Shop the market, enjoy a tasty treat in the Red Barn Cafe & Bakery, pick out a pumpkin, purchase all your favorite fall foods and enjoy the family activities, including a petting farm, pig races, haunted haunts, jumping pillows and more.

Richardson’s Adventure Farm, Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch (Spring Grove)

The fall season is in full swing at the farm featuring the World’s Largest Corn Maze, a 700’ zip line, ORBiting ball ride, live pig races, jumping pillows, giant slides, wagon rides, pumpkin patches, picnic areas and campfires and more.

All Seasons Apple Orchard and Pumpkin Patch (Woodstock)

Recently voted as a “Top 10 Orchard in the Nation” by USA Today, the fall season runs daily through November 2. Activities include you-pick apples, a pumpkin patch, barnyard, farm market and a host of fun kids activities.

Six Flags Fright Fest (Gurnee)

Fright Fest is back and is running through November 3. Activities include various haunted houses (additional fees), scare zones, spooky shows and amusement rides.

After 6:30 p.m., they will “show no mercy” (i.e. too intense for guests 13 and under).
