Four Christmas Movies to Watch this Holiday Season Filmed in Long Grove

Long Grove was chosen as the picturesque backdrop for four Christmas movies that will be airing this holiday season. 

Christmas on the Ranch (2024) is a NEW holiday movie, debuting during the 2024 holiday season and is now streaming exclusively on Hulu. Christmas on the Ranch was filmed on location in both Chicago and the northwest suburbs with most taking place at Chatterbox of Long Grove, the Sock Monkey Museum, and Robert Parker Coffin Bridge in Historic Downtown Long Grove. Other filming spots include Country Ridge Stables in Mundelein, Zia West in Hawthorn Woods, WGN Radio in downtown Chicago, Dakota K Auto Repair & Tire Center in Arlington Heights, Bende in Vernon Hills, and a private residence in Oak Park. Christmas on the Ranch is the third collaboration between Chicago-based production company Very Merry Entertainment and Nicely Entertainment and is their second exclusive premiere with Hulu following the release of Reporting for Christmas, which premiered as a Top 10 new release last year. 

Once Upon a Christmas Wish is another NEW release for the 2024 holiday season starring Mario and Courtney Lopez. It premiers Saturday, December 7 at 7 pm CST on Great American Family channel.

Christmas with Felicity (2021): Available for free on various streaming channels including Amazon Prime, Sling TV and Tubi

Reporting for Christmas (2023): Available on various streaming channels for rent or with subscription including Hulu, Disney+ and Amazon Prime
