Northwest Golf Academy Hosts Grand Opening Open House This Saturday

Northwest Golf Academy recently opened a 6,000-square-foot indoor golf training and practice center in Barrington, located at 756 W. Northwest Highway in the Foundry.

The academy was founded by Brad Ray, a PGA golf professional who has led junior and adult golf instruction in the Barrington area for more than 20 years at Makray Memorial Golf Club.

Ray and his team will host an open house this Saturday, Nov. 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., where community members can learn more about their offerings, which include:

Practice Memberships
Pay a monthly fee for unlimited indoor practice sessions daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a convenient online booking system.

Winter 2024 After-School Junior Programs
These programs will run from January to March 2025, during the height of the cold winter season, for kids ages 8-13.

League Play
Organize an indoor winter golf league with a 2-, 3-, or 4-person team and play anytime between 5 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Trackman-equipped practice bays.

Birthday Parties and Private Events
Host a birthday party or private event with access to a lounge or private room.

Custom Club Fittings
Work one-on-one with a Master Callaway Fitter to identify the best clubs for your game.

Gift Cards
Gift cards can be redeemed for practice memberships, junior programs, league play, and/or custom club fittings—an ideal holiday gift for the golfer in your life.

“Our goal is to combine our teaching experience with the latest technology to provide all levels of golfers with high-level instruction and practice opportunities so they feel comfortable, capable, and confident when they set out on the course,” said Ray.

Northwest Golf Academy will be celebrating its recent opening with a ribbon cutting on November 6 and an open house event on November 16 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
