Dedicated Website Launched for Route 14 Underpass Project

The Village of Barrington has launched a new Website dedicated to the U.S. Route 14 Grade Separation (underpass) project that can be found here: www.us14underpass.com.

Members of the community can also sign up for ongoing e-mail updates.

In the coming months, recent tree removals will pave the way for private utility relocations by ComEd, Nicor, and Verizon, setting the stage for construction later this year.

According to the Web site, the project is “fully funded and supported by multiple agencies and promises transformative changes to the area.”

Additional project renderings are available on the website for a glimpse into the future of Route 14.
